Access

Introduction

We have a wide range of catheters suitable for all types of access procedures, the following identifies our key products.

K Flow

K Flow Temporary

K Flow temporary

This catheter range is designed with dialysis in mind. The unique tip and true 360 degree design eliminates the need for side holes, reducing arterial insufficiencies, therefore maintaining greater catheter patency over time. The 360 degree flow design also reduces the need to reverse blood lines during treatment.

This catheter delivers an efficient and effective dialysis treatment. All are constructed with biocompatible materials that are compatible with common exit site protocols.

K Flow 360 Temporary

K Flow 360 temporary

This is designed for short term therapy needs or to bridge the gap in access whilst patients are waiting on maturation of permanent access with an AV fistula or graft, or while waiting on revision of a malfunctioning access.

This biocompatible catheter is available as a dual lumen or triple lumen configuration. They are also available with straight or pre-curved extensions. Excellent flow rates with low pressures maximise treatment efficacy and effectiveness.

K Flow Peritoneal Dialysis (Long Term)

K Flow Peritoneal Dialysis (Long Term)

Our reputation for developing quality catheter technology in the peritoneal market place has been firmly established for more than 25 years.

Today our peritoneal access programme combines leading edge materials technology with our well earned reputation for offering quality products at competitive prices. This new range has been created to meet the demands of today's therapies

K Flow Haemodialysis (Long Term)

K Flow haemodialysis

Our haemo range has been designed for long term access.
Together with the biocompatible polyurethane material, the lumen to wall ratio of the catheter is key to the enhanced flow and minimises venous back pressure.

Other features include a 14.5 Fr diameter round catheer profile which permits easier insertion and reduces patient discomfort, a cuff to ensure tunnel placement and an internal suture wing for securing after implantation. They are all available as pre-curved or straight.

K Flow Split (Long Term)

KFLOW split long term

Designed to provide access for long term dialysis needs with biocompatible material and an oval profile, this catheter combines the benefits of a split tip with two round inner lumens. this improves kink resistance, catheter patency and maximal flows with low pressure

K Flow Stepped Silicone (Long Term)

KFLOW stepped long term

This is an excellent choice for long term dialysis needs.
The ova profile provides excellent flows and ease of handling. The biocomapatible material conforms to tunnel and venous anatomy providing excellent patient tolerance safety

K Flow Twin (Long Term) - Not available in the UK

K Flow Twin (Long term)

This twin catheter utilises a retrograde placement technique permitting exact placement of the individual lumens in the vein before tunneling, facilitated using a formable steel trocar included in the kit. Two single lumen free floating catheters independent of each other in the same vessel help minimise catheter occlusion and help enable blood flows of 400-450 mls/min

K Flow PICC (Haemotology/Oncology)

KFLOW Picc twin catheter

Our PICC range offers short or long term peripheral access solutions. This particular PICC provides high flows and superior catheter strength to ensure device reliability and patient comfort. The kit includes, as standard, a micro-introducer set comprising of a nitinol platinum tip guidewire, a tear away sheath dilator and a echogenic tip introducer needle.

K Flow PICC CT (Haemotology/Oncology)

KFLOW Picc twin catheter

The PICC-CT offers innovative polymer technology and advanced design, it includes all the features and benefits of the PICC  with the added ability to inject contrast media, withstanding high pressures and flows of up to 5cc/sec and a maximum of 300psi.

K Flow Atrial (Haemotology/Oncology)

KFLOW right atrial

This catheter range is available in single, double and triple lumen configurations in a broad range of French sizes to support most patient access requirements. the soft biocompatible silicone conforms well to vessel anatomy. The catheter features include an integral cuff that promotes tissue ingrowth, securing the catheter in the tunnel.
Extensions are colour coded for easy identification.

K Flow Procedure Packs

K Flow Procedure Pack

Procedure packs have been at the centre of Kimal's business since the 1990's. Our focus being on areas where we have an excellent understanding of our customer's needs and clinical practices.
