Kimal was originally formed in 1964 and since then it has achieved many milestones in its development. There are many of these and it is appropriate to list some of the more notable ones.
As a modern forward looking organisation we are justifiably proud of our achievements, and these are ones which formed the bedrock for our expansion into the current millennium.
Notable symbols of our ongoing expansion include the opening of our 'state of the art' new cleanroom (Lister) at our Bromsgrove site in 2002, this gave us the capacity to manufacture over 1 million packs per year.
In 2007, we opened a second and larger global logistics centre in Droitwich.
The Droitwich unit was initially designed as the central hub of our supply chain & distribution network, however, this site has now been developed to become an all encompassing operational site which incorporates the key commercial business units & customer care hub of the company.
As identified elsewhere, the main day to day running of the business emanates from the combined Midlands operation with support from the Corporate HQ in Middlesex.
The Kimal plc operation is run by the board of directors who intern are strategically driven by the board of Kimal holdings plc.
